Immersed, a multimedia painting
I was sketching one night and imagined it large scale and colorful. The painting evolved as I worked from the original study, and I added gloss, washi, a Japanese paper that I painted with acrylic ink before integrating ripped pieces onto the canvas, and embroidery thread.
