Breaking Through

Breaking through was my second piece with a wabi sabi cracked circle (purposefully cracked). It was textured and painted with high-fire glazes and framed by my ceramic "quilting triangle" tiles. Flowing through and between the ceramic circle are hundreds of tiny seed beads sewn by hand onto the linen and cotton.
